Bless Israel Tzedakah Box
Are You Interested in Blessing Israel ?
Over and over, I've heard people say, “ I pray for the people of Israel ,” “I love Israel ,” or “I want to be a blessing to Israel ; or “How can I be more involved in blessing the Jewish people?” Hope for Israel was founded specifically for people interested in being a Blessing to the People of Israel. Hope for Israel is raising awareness of the humanitarian needs in the land of Israel and then channels funds raised to humanitarian efforts run by Messianic Jewish ministries.
Are you aware that more than 20% of Israelis live below the poverty line? The poverty line in Israel is defined if you make $500.00 or less a month. Most low-income apartments cost $400 a month in rent. There sure isn't much left over for the basics such as food or clothing. What a tragedy. However, the Jewish believers in the land are seeking to provide humanitarian assistance to their countrymen. In fact, local & national governments have noticed their effectiveness. Another tragedy is that most money raised for Israel by the Christian and Jewish communities in the West, circumvents the Messianic community. This means, most of the monies raised goes to organizations other than the humanitarian works accomplished by Jewish Believers. Hope for Israel wants to see that change.

How can you get involved?
Begin by engaging your church to pray, to see the significance of Blessing Israel. Then you can help tremendously in this effort by receiving a Bless Israel offering box for your house of worship or your church.
The Bless Israel box is a well designed offering box about a 18 inches high and 6 inches wide, accompanied with brochures to be placed in an area where worshipers can deposit offerings for Israel . (See the picture above). Then your house of worship can send Hope for Israel the offerings in the box once a month. These monies go directly into the hands of Messianic Jewish ministries in the land of Israel providing humanitarian assistance to all their countrymen, Jews and Arabs.
Your church can help today by ordering one of these boxes – (they're completely free) by contacting Paul Klassen, Executive Director of Hope for Israel , at hope4israel@juno.com or calling him at 804-353-3293. These Bless Israel boxes are not for personal use, but rather to be set up in a visible, yet secure place, in your church and then promote it to your people as a way of helping the most vulnerable Jewish people. Just think of what donations of $20, $50, or $70 can do in helping needy people in Israel .
Note the comments of the Apostle Paul, “For if the Gentiles have shared in their (Jewish) spiritual things, they (Gentiles) are indebted to minister to them (the Jews) also in material things.” (Romans 15:27) The Word Tzedakah ( צדקה ) is a Hebrew word most commonly translated as charity , though it is based on a root meaning justice ( צדק , tzedek ). Psalm 140:12 says; “ I know that the LORD secures justice for the poor and upholds the cause of the needy.” Thank you for your participation.
