He raises the poor out of the dust and lifts the needy out of the dunghill. --Psalms 113:7
Joseph´s Storehouse
Joseph´s Storehouse provides aid to the poor and needy Jewish and Arab people living in the nation of Israel today. Many of them are struggling as orphans and widows, homeless and handicapped, senior citizens and geriatric patients as well as new immigrants and finally, victims of terrorism and their families. Through the relief and assistance of The Joseph Storehouse; food, clothing, toiletries, kitchen and household items, blankets, towels, linens, and toys are some of the supplies we distribute on a weekly basis.
Our goal is to bring relief during times of crisis for those living under Israel's "poverty line" and also providing the general population lacking life's basic necessities. The needs arise as a result of, among other things, terrorism, war, unemployment, health problems, personal needs, and increased immigration. Each case is unique, requiring the personal care and attention that we sincerely offer.
Chevra
Chevra, meaning friendship is dedicated to giving humanitarian aid, throughout the former Soviet Union, where thousands of Jewish people are subsisting in incredibly desperate situations. Many are survivors of the Nazi Holocaust of World War II. Multitudes are facing persecution, being denied jobs, housing, food, and medical care.
It is estimated there are thousands of survivors of the Holocaust still alive today. Each month about one percent of these people pass on. Too often, their last years have been spent in nearly the same conditions in which they survived in the camps. These who suffered so much, continue to suffer---don´t they deserve better? We can help ease their last years. We can do something to care for their daily needs supporting them in tangible ways.
Israel & Aliyah
Jewish People living in the former Soviet Union have had a very difficult life of persecution and deprivation. For a Jew, Aliyah, immigrating to Israel, is a dream and a hope of a better life. Even though they return with nothing, Jews are continuing to follow their dream, and Hope for Israel must and can help them return.
Tents of Mercy
"Tents of Mercy" is a Messianic Jewish work located in the North of Israel. It played a critical role in restoration projects following the war in Lebanon in 2006.
Through Tents of Mercy, we provide humanitarian aid and ongoing food assistance to the poor in the North. Among other things, it runs a drug and alcohol rehabilitation clinic and a partnership with the city of Akko for job training.
Jerusalem Institute for Justice
This organization is headed by a well known Messianic Jewish lawyer in Israel who has successfully prosecuted cases for Messianic Jews who have been either barred from immigration because of their faith or discriminated against in jobs and housing. The Jerusalem Institute of Justice provides free legal assistance to Messianic Jews and others whose civil rights have been violated in Israel.
Love for Israel Relief Fund
The Love for Israel Relief Fund works in cooperation with Israeli political leaders to help Israelis in need. Israeli leaders highlight special projects that benefit needy Israelis, and this organization steps in to assist in funding these projects. Projects have included assisting orphaned children, lonely soliders, hospitals and war restoration. By giving through Hope for Israel, we can assist these serious needs in Israel and make important connections to Israeli political leaders.
